According to research undertaken by Tradition Family Property Student Action, approximately 101 of 244 (or 41%) of Catholic colleges and universities in the United States have officially recognized pro-homosexual clubs, LGBTQ Resource Centers, or student organizations.

Of the 28 Jesuit-run institutions of higher learning, 100% have pro-homosexual clubs. Many of these, such as Georgetown University, Gonzaga University, and Loyola Marymount University, have university-funded “Diversity Centers” or other LGBT organizations that host or participate in pro-homosexual conferences with local and nation-wide homosexual activist organizations such as GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network).

I'm glad these clubs and support groups exist to aid the LGBTQ community. Bigots can use religion to cloak their hatred but in the end, Jesus is love and love will prevail. Eventually the conservative old men in the Vatican will ask forgiveness for the injustices they perpetuate.

Nobody chooses to feel same-sex attraction. No one deserves blame for feeling it. Like everyone else, anyone with those feelings should get love and respect. But for me, this list is sad, sad news. These colleges/ universities are violating Catholic moral truth and showing too little Christian love to people who feel same-sex attractions. Catholic colleges should help those people cope with their unhealthy attractions. They should not condone the immoral things those people do because they feel those attractions.

Contact the St. Joseph Foundation to get a canonical lawyer and sue these institutions in canonical court. Also get a civil lawyer and sue these institutions for false advertisement and fraud.

Practicing same-sex attraction is a grave sin--period. With such morally dangerous and relativistic reasoning, bestiality and adultery clubs could be justified. Allowing that practicing sodomy is like being part of a "rainbow" certainly reflects the nadir of Catholic intellectual tradition. Sugar-coating sin with sappy sentimentalism is not for what the missionaries and martyrs gave their lives. Catholic Universities MUST uphold the truth and teachings of the Church. Only God can judge; however, if we accept that sin exists and that the price of sin is unto death, then we can assume that identifying sodomy with human dignity and love is the most cynical and hateful lie that these Catholic institutions can perpetuate.

I agree with Bill McEnaney, for God and the Church will never hate the sin and the sinner. Being gay not a sin, but practicing homosexuality is. Love sinners, and welcome them as brothers to help them without discrimination is not the same as accepting or condoning their sin, much less within the Catholic educational institutions themselves. This is surreal. It's time to use strict measures and drastic measures to correct the course of these educational institutions "Catholic" and assert the moral teachings of the Church. The Church can never be omitted or lenient act. Let us stand up and say to the four corners that is irregular and is not the will of our Lord Jesus Christ.

No one asked to be born, and no one asked to be born with infirmity of any kind. But all understand that to each person God gifts whose life with a special cross just for that person's spiritual needs. No one is spared of a cross! "Carry your cross and follow me!" If we love Jesus and cling onto His mercy for our salvation, then it is only befitting that we carry our cross and follow Him without complaint! My weakness shall be my strength! Offer it up to the Cross of Jesus!
