Comedy Central Mocks Jesus: SIGN PROTEST

By TFP Student Action

Our Lord
"O all ye who pass by the way, stop and see, if there be sorrow like unto my sorrow."
Why does Comedy Central insult Catholics, but respect Muslims?

sign-the-protest

TFP Student Action is urging Comedy Central to cancel the production of a new cartoon series called JC that mocks Our Lord Jesus Christ.  According to press reports, Comedy Central writers are describing the new series JC as “a playful take on religion and society with a sprinkle of dumb.”

For example, God the Father is shown as someone who is lazy, plays video games and neglects his son.  In turn, Jesus is distant from his powerful and lazy father, and tries to become a regular guy in New York City.

Since final approval at Comedy Central for JC is still pending, please:

The Blatant Double Standard

Time and time again, Comedy Central has censored images of Muhammad on its program South Park.  Yet they allow Our Lord Jesus Christ to be mocked and insulted without scruples.  For example, Comedy Central ran "Sacrilicious Sunday," a series of shows highly offensive to Catholics.

We should pray for those who mock and ridicule or Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that the Lord will send the Holy Spirit to visit them, come into their heart, show them the error of their ways and turn their hearts.

The Lord said to pray for your enemies. Do not hate or despies them, but pray for them, that their hearts may be turned.

Let uzs pray for those at Comedy Central that have attempted to mock and ridicule the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why would you allow the mocking of our God. To turn even one person against him is a terrible thing!

Why would you mock our God? The world needs God more than ever and to turn even on person against Him is a sin.

Please do not desecrate Our Lord Jesus Christ who is considered the Son of God and Christ for all Christians. Could you not find some more intellectual, truthful, charitable and truly more meaningful and edifying form of entertainment? If not it seems that you would head or stem from perdition, and should be warned of the extreme deception and evil of Satanic forces that destroy souls and lives. Please read the message of Fatima. May Jesus Christ the true Son of God in the Triune God be always praised and blessed and glorified.

Those who mock our lord & savior are truly possessed by devils and as we all have heard, "the idle mind is the devil's workshop." Simply said, this is how the devil makes use of people who have no conscience. So the only thing i can say to him is this...DOUG, don't waste your life mocking our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you will lose in the end, the end of your life that is... instead, turn your life over to Him. You can do it. Time is precious Doug.

God bless.

Can you not make comedy without mocking the Creator? Think about it...REALLY think about it. Surely you can do comedy without mocking our Lord and Savior. If you cannot..than you are admitting your ineptness and lack of skill.

This is totally blasphemous. You are insulting the Most High God. Jesus Christ suffered the most horrendous, excruciating death on the cross and you are mocking Him! How dare you! He suffered so you could enjoy eternal bliss and this is how you thank Him? What are you going to say to your Creator when you meet Him at YOUR DEATH - and you WILL meet Him!!!

To make a mockery of Jesus Chris and God is an abomination! For what he has done to us through our life and the future should be well respected! The greatest trick that the devil has ever pulled was convincing the world that he doesn't exist. Sorry devil, you lose this one and it will be a downward spiral for ya. Don't cry when you go down, we won't be there to wipe your tears!!

I feel that Comedy Central has enough material to use for comedy without mocking God. There is enough unrest in the world without adding to it. I beg you not to do this. Please rethink what you are doing to the believers in the Catholic religion. We don't mock Mohammed or other great religious leaders, such as Budda. If we began tormenting the Muslims more, we would certainly feel the effects.
Please rethink what you are doing.
Peacefully,
Claire Burdick
