After meticulous examination, TFP Student Action volunteers found pro-homosexual student clubs at 111 Catholic institutions of higher learning.  Of the 211 Catholic universities and colleges listed by Ganley’s Catholic Schools in America, 52 percent appear to sponsor organizations which undermine Catholic morality.

From 2009 to 2012, the number of pro-homosexual clubs operating on Catholic campuses has risen by 7 percent. Research conducted in 2009 found clubs at 45 percent of Catholic colleges.

Many of these clubs act as platforms of dissent.  They sponsor sinful events and promote ideas that advance the homosexual movement’s most radical agenda:  same-sex “marriage,” the acceptance of immoral lifestyles, gender confusion, and the rejection of Catholic teaching.

For example:

  • The Queer Straight Alliance club at the College of St. Scholastica held a “Vote No” rally against God-ordered marriage in Minnesota.  In addition, 192 faculty and staff members attacked the marriage amendment in a public statement.
  • America’s oldest Catholic university, Georgetown, promoted a month-long schedule of pro-homosexual activities in October.  The various “Coming Out” events included a public “kiss-in” (same-sex kissing).
  • The number of “lavender graduations” on Catholic campuses have been increasing.  These “graduations” treat sinful lifestyles as something special.

Please oppose these scandals by signing a peaceful protest here

“These clubs are aggressively pushing to mainstream sin, to pretend sin is something special,” said TFP Student Action Director John Ritchie.  “Never mind academic achievement.  Vice is being celebrated now, not virtue.”

“At the heart of so many famous Catholic universities, a real dictatorship of ‘tolerance’ is sidelining the truth, throwing 2,000 years of Catholic teaching right out the window,” he continued.  “More and more students are confronted with visible, active and well-funded pro-homosexual clubs that openly contradict natural law and undermine good moral values.”

“As the culture war intensifies, it’s vital to stop the sexual revolution from misleading more souls,” Ritchie remarked.  “What will happen if non-negotiable moral values continue to be surrendered to the culture of death on Catholic campuses?  Without moral values, what’s the difference between Berkeley and Georgetown?  Like Our Lord asked:  What is salt worth if it has lost its savor?”

Over 24,000 students and concerned parents have already signed a protest petition drafted by TFP Student Action, urging Catholic university presidents to disband pro-homosexual clubs within their institutions.  The goal of the petition is to also encourage students to stand strong on moral values and fight the trend of indifference and inaction.  Everyone is invited to sign the petition.

TFP Student Action has no intention to defame or disparage anyone with this campaign. We do not harbor personal hatred against any individual. By intellectually opposing individuals or organizations promoting the homosexual agenda, our only intent is to defend marriage, the family, Catholic education, and the precious remnants of Christian civilization in society.

In his address to Catholic educators at the Catholic University of America in April 2008, Pope Benedict XVI said:

“Teachers and administrators, whether in universities or schools, have the duty and privilege to ensure that students receive instruction in Catholic doctrine and practice. This requires that public witness to the way of Christ, as found in the Gospel and upheld by the Church's Magisterium, shapes all aspects of an institution's life, both inside and outside the classroom. Divergence from this vision weakens Catholic identity and, far from advancing freedom, inevitably leads to confusion, whether moral, intellectual or spiritual.”

TFP Student Action hopes to collect 50,000 petitions before Christmas.

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if students decided to start a club for straight people, or a club for good ol' traditional marriage? Would it be funded by these same colleges? Worth a try. What do you think? Start 111 traditional marriage clubs on these same campuses!

That's what I do for a living. I start, train, and assist conservative student groups and publications, including pro-marriage/pro-chastity groups.

First of all, this kind of situation happens because the education should change its profile; more time to biological, neurological and personal pedagogical background knowledge in academic curriculum. Academic teacher of integrated personal development pedagogy.

Why they were allowed to even start is something that puzzles me. These groups are well funded, as you stated and their agenda goes directly against all that we as Catholics believe. So, why would these clubs allowed to flourish or even start up...? It is the same as a healthy human introducing live cancer cells in his body and taking a chance they will not destroy him... hellooo, is there a brain behind the thinking of these Catholic institutions that are allowing this...??? No Catholic college can call themselves Catholic if this is what they allow to do, they should take the adjective Catholic and replace it with secular... at least they would be true to their actions... and, also, why aren't Catholic Bishops really taking a stand against these Catholic institutions and demanding they go back to our Catholicism or take Catholic off their name...!!!

I'm actually not Catholic- I'm Baptist but I found this site by chance. I think it's ridiculous that homosexuality is so encouraged throughout America and other countries. It's so frustrating when people are blindly encouraging this sin to change our government and society as a whole.
