| Ask Rosemont College to remove Planned Parenthood from its web site. Catholic colleges should champion virtue, not vice. |
------------------------------------------------
Feb. 8 Update: Rosemont College – a Catholic institution – currently lists Planned Parenthood on its web site under “career paths and opportunities” for students of its women’s studies program. Founded in 1921 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, Rosemont College has 903 students, 518 of them undergraduates.
Regis University, Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame de Namur University, Loyola University New Orleans, and Marquette Law School also listed Planned Parenthood on their web sites. Thank God, those listings vanished soon after Catholic World News pointed them out.
So far, however, Rosemont College has not removed its listing.

Committed to defend moral values on college campuses, TFP Student Action has launched an e-protest addressed to the president of Rosemont College located in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Sharon Latchaw Hirsh, PhD, politely urging her to remove the mention of Planned Parenthood.

It is widely known that Planned Parenthood:
- Promotes abortion and promiscuity
- Targets children with offensive material
- Takes positions hostile to Christianity
- Receives hundreds of millions in tax dollars ($349.6 million in 2008 alone)
Enough said.
To give this peaceful effort much more impact, spread the word by forwarding this information to your pro-life friends (or even your entire address book).
