On the Guardian Angel Prayer, I make it plural, in order to cover those of my loved ones who may not be praying for themselves.
Angels of God, our Guardians dear,
To whom God's love commits us here,

Also let us pray to stop abortion and Planned Parenthood.
Father I ask that you instill in the hearts of men a deeper understanding of the life that is within each mothers womb. Help us to understand that you, through the Holy Spirit, create human life from the moment of conception. Each human having an immortal soul and your light of life within them.

Indeed! Ask your priest to return to the practice. We say it in our Church after EVERY Mass. If your priest declines, stay after Mass and say it yourself. You might ask the priest if you could say it aloud. My heart tells me others would soon join you. My prayers for this are with you.
