Saint Michael

Saint Michael, pray for us!

(Say for nine consecutive days)

Saint Michael the Archangel, loyal champion of God and His Catholic people, I turn to thee with confidence and seek thy powerful intercession. For the love of God, Who hast made thee so glorious in grace and power, and for the love of the Mother of Jesus, the Queen of the Angels, be pleased to hear my prayer.

Thou knowest the value of my soul in the eyes of God. May no stain of evil ever disfigure its beauty. Help me to conquer the evil spirit who tempts me. I desire to imitate thy loyalty to God and Holy Mother Church and thy great love for God and men. And since thou art God’s messenger for the care of His people, I entrust to thee this special request: (Here mention your request.)

Saint Michael, since thou art, by the will of the Creator, the powerful intercessor of Christians, I have great confidence in thy prayers. I earnestly trust that if it is God’s holy will, my petition will be granted.

Pray for me, Saint Michael, and also for those I love. Protect us in all dangers of body and soul. Help us in our daily needs. Through thy powerful intercession, may we live a holy life, die a happy death and reach Heaven where we may praise and love God with thee forever. Amen.

I remember being in Mont St. Michel, in France, a couple of times, seeing St. Michael atop what was alleged to be the place where St. Michael fought with Satan. That was sufficient for me. I prayed then as I pray now, that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, would be recognized for who He is.

Today, I pray for St. Michael to watch over me while I undergo my surgery.

The cross that I carried while in Vietnam protected me then and I pray will protect me now.

The rockets that missed me and the other enemy rounds that were fired - miss their target because of my faith then and now.

St. Michael, is my one of my favorite, I say the prayer all the time for myself and my family to keep us all safe,and I know he has. He is so powerful, thanks to God. I will learn this new one, which I did not know. thanks.

Praise God and all of His Wonderful Glory. Beautiful story, and yes, St. Michael is just incredible. He will protect you and will come to your aid when you need him. Pray to him for protection and for our soldiers in Iraq, and too that the war will end soon. And all of our troops will come home safely again, to be united with their families.

What a beautiful and powerful prayer. It's marvelous! Whoever say's it with faith will never repent it. It's the real prayer where we can crush the power of Satan at destroy him forever after all Jesus is powerful .

What a beautiful, inspiring story! I just sent this story last night to my son, Michael, who is named after St. Michael. I still had it on my e-mail page from when America Needs Fatima sent it the last time. I had first read this story about 15 years ago. I pray to St. Michael everyday for my seven children and also their guardian angels. They are mighty with God!

Thank you so much for this letter and novena. It is ironic because my husband and I just today decided to pray to St. Michael for a family deeply bothered by drugs and hate in the hopes that we can rid the evil that is harming them!

We will include your novena with our planned prayers and may our Lady crush the head of the ancient serpent that is causing so much harm to souls.

God Bless.........fiat......HIS (our GOD) will be done.....I always end my Rosary with the St. Michael prayer and at Ave Maria the Masses always end with the prayer to St. Michael ... he is truly honored by many.....and certainly deserves it...Thanks for sharing the story ... I believe......

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!! This is beautiful and graceful!! We really ought to begin saying the prayer to St. Michael as we did when I was growing up. I am 81, now, so that was a long time ago!! But, because satan is working so hard to make human beings FALL, we need to pray the prayer everyday!!

Thank you for this wonderful story!!! I have always prayed the Saint Michael spiritual prayer but because I have been so busy lately, this was a wonderful reminder to start praying the St. Michael prayer daily!! This is a very inspiring story. I don't question it at all, for I believe in St. Michael and the angels.
