Did you know that 96 Catholic colleges have pro-homosexual clubs?
It sounded like a crowd at a stadium as the cheering filtered through the Louisiana woods. It was not, however, a normal sporting event. Rather it was the closing “medieval games” at a Call to Chivalry camp where two teams of boys were pitted against each other in feats of prowess and heroism while parents looked on. The intense cheering came both from boys and parents as they encouraged those competing.
The theme for the 2007 Pensylvania Call to Chivalry Summer Camp was Don Pelayo, the Battle of Covadonga, and the Reconquest of Spain.
The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property held its annual Pennsylvania Call to Chivalry Camp for boys ages 12-18 at the TFP-staffed St. Louis de Montfort Academy on August 11-20.
A 1987 book titled Missing From Action: Vanishing Manhood in America explored the causes of the diminishing role of manliness in society. From this perspective, this year’s Call to Chivalry Camp could aptly be titled: Back in Action.
