How same-sex “marriage” advocates use violence
against traditional marriage supporters
In this newly released video, volunteers with the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) describe how they were violently assaulted by pro-homosexual "marriage" advocates while promoting traditional marriage on college campuses and in the public square.

"That empty slogan about tolerance comes crashing down after you see how TFP volunteers were criminally assaulted by same-sex 'marriage' advocates," said TFP Student Action Director John Ritchie.
"The video speaks for itself. They don't tolerate God's marriage. In fact, our volunteers have been bullied, pepper sprayed, hit with glass bottles, sprayed with pesticide, punched, and spit on for peacefullystating that marriage iswhat it is – the unionbetween one man and one woman."
"When you watch same-sex 'marriage' activists destroy your signs, desecrate the Bible, blaspheme, and burn your literature, it becomes clear that the homosexual agenda is not really about tolerance," Ritchie said. "It's about the formation of a strange dictatorship – a dictatorship of pseudo-tolerance and make-believe equality – where freedom of speech is only allowed if it advances sinful lifestyles; where God, family values and public morality are off limits and targeted for destruction."

"We're witnessing a moral revolution," continued Ritchie, "and sometimes I wonder: Will the aggressive attempt to redefine God's marriage lead to a new religious persecution?"
"Just look at the French Revolution of 1789. Back then, the unruly mob screamed 'equality' as they broke the rule of law and committed all sorts of atrocities," he said. "And today, you find people chanting 'equality' as they attack peaceful Americans who affirm the positive, self-evident truth that marriage is between one man and one woman. It's a big eye-opener."
"But despite these attacks, TFP Student Action volunteers are upbeat, and planning more campaigns in defense of marriage. We like to be on the front lines," said Ritchie. "And the more God's marriage is under attack, the more we will defend it."

I realize the truth you spread is from the Bible. I believe, but you must understand what you are dealing with. It will be only a matter of time before one of these demon possessed attackers severely hurt, injure, or kill one of you.
For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Although it enrages me to see these faithful servants of God do his works being spit on, assaulted and cursed I truly understand why they do it!
What does that have to do with the attack on the TFP volunteers?
The problem is, you cannot judge an entire group based on the actions of a few members (despite the fact that if pro-lifers behaved this way the media would have a field day).
Just as the aims of pro-lifers should not be judged by say, the idiot who shot Tiller, you should not judge all pro-homosexuals by a few idiots you encountered.
This point is even highlighted in the video by the man who hates the Catholic Church based on the actions of some of its priests.
So, the video would be better if you acknowledged that the footage does not represent all pro-homosexuals, and/or had more footage of opposition by pro-homosexual groups than random individuals.
In the mean time, I think TFP is doing an excellent work, and naturally they DO NOT have to acknowledge nothing at this point,they did not do anything wrong, but to peacefully express a Truth that should be protected and promoted by national policy (Marriage is God's, and it is composed of one man + one woman).

What is the "real" position of pro-homosexuals towards opposite opinions? They have almost all the media support, they even find very funny and cool their violent attitudes. Sorry to tell, but gays and lesbians in this video behave like very vulgar and violent people. I wish you were right and that there may be more educated and tolerant gays and lesbians than these ones. At present, it doesn't seem that way.

This means that marriage is sacred, it respects the natural law (it happens between a man an a woman) and to which unnatural couples have no right to acquire, because it is a completely different union. It already has been scientifically proven that the homosexual act, lead to disease and even death.
On the other hand, the act of the married couple, a man and a woman, lead to life, a new life, and that is a gift from God, no one has the "right" to take that away from people.

I agree with Sergio. Christ would not have liked it, in the same manner that His holy anger manifested when the holy temple was made into a market place. In this instance, or something similar TFP will stage in the future, a bodyguard or two would keep the violent people at bay. Please be more careful as Satan is really very persistent in bringing more to his legion. Our prayers will be with you, TFP volunteers.
Yes, but the moment a TFP member or associate strikes anyone, or even looks like he's thinking of striking anyone, the main stream media will broadcast with the worst possible headlines. Political pressure will be applied and the TFP will be arrested/wrapped up in minutes if not seconds. They HAVE to not react violently on order for the organisation to survive.

I lived in an orphanage, a boarding school and then in a student nurse dorm between the ages of 6 and 21. Never saw sexual behavior, not even longing looks, between members of my same sex. Young children would not have the guile to hide it. A Ukrainian co-worker tells me she also lived in a dorm and never saw homosexuality.

How is letting a group of people, who have to FIGHT for equal rights, marry, taking away rights? Plus, why are you constantly shoving "traditional marriage" in everyone's faces when all of America is already aware of the views of your hardened hearts?
Isn't saying pro-homosexuals are aggressive and violent the same as saying all blacks are good at basketball, or all Middle Eastern people are terrorists.
Granted the video does not show the entire events, but the message of the video appears to be how these students have been attacked.
Immorality (and persecution) will continue to grow in America without a heart transformation by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Morality cannot be legislated without a change of heart.

They do not think we have moral standing as fellow citizens with whom they have chosen to disagree in the conflict of ideas: the marriage idea versus their SSM idea.
They openly say that we do not deserve any respect at all; that it is acceptable to curse us up and down; and that this is especially so if the surly person doing the cursing is a member of the gay identity group.
Gay identity politics, as asserted today, looks a lot like the supremacy of white identity politics half a century ago.
