BEST 2-Minute Defense of God's Marriage by Skateboarder

By John Ritchie
April 18, 2013

Let's make this video go viral: Post. Like. Share. Tweet. Facebook.

TFP Student Action volunteers meet people from all walks of life when they tour the country in defense of moral values.  The two-minute unplanned, impromptu recording was captured during a campaign for traditional marriage in White Plains, New York.

When the man featured in this interview came rolling down the sidewalk on his skateboard, he saw our signs promoting God's marriage, stopped, and accepted a copy of our handout, 10 Reasons Why Same-Sex "Marriage" Is Harmful and Must Be Opposed.  He was happy to share his candid thoughts on camera.  His common sense is contagious.

This is what he said:

God said, "Be fruitful and multiply."  How are you multiplying if you're -- I'm not saying a bad word -- but it says homosexual.  If you're a homosexual, it's wrong.  Seek help.  It's like a drug condition. It's just wrong.  There's help to be got. People, there really is!

It's about Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

If God wanted it to be that way, He would have made Adam and Steve, or two females. But He didn't.  He made man and took the ribs and made woman as his support, as his comforter, as his everything; not the other way around.

People, come on.  It's simple. It's simple. And your confusing the kids, which is wrong!

My nine year-old step-daughter saw this [homosexual lifestyle] on TV the other night and she was like, "Oh, so it's okay."  And it's wrong.  You're sending the wrong message to the kids.

They can tell kids it's okay for a guy to kiss a guy, but they can tell a kid that it's NOT okay for them to say "God bless America?"  Does anyone else not see the problem with that?  It's wrong.  It's wrong. You hear the kids? It's about the kids.

How do you expect to keep a country running, a nation running, a world running, if you're teaching the kids to be...  I don't get it.  I don't get it.  It's actually upsetting if you think about it.

Okay, look. You get gay parades. Men and women have been getting married since the beginning of time, going through the hardships which life throw at us. We have nothing to honor that.  Nothing at all. Not a day. Not an event. Nothing.

Can we get some equal rights?  Talking about equality. Can we get some equal rights for being straight?  Can we get a medal or something?  I mean, like, a guy has been married to the same girl for fifty-four years!   That's a lifetime! That's a lifetime!  He didn't get anything for that. Nothing at all and yet you guys want to give a parade for...

I don't get it.

One man and one man just isn't going to work. I'm sorry. God bless.

Well said. We need more young adults to ask the same basic question this young man is asking all of us.
Keep up the good fight.

I know ... I know ... common sense and morality shamefully are in such short supply these days.

If God created Adam and Steve - or Adamette and Eve - I wouldn't be here to write this comment - and you wouldn't be here to read it!

To those who say marriage is all about love, where next? Some Mormons are waiting. (Then, maybe we can have veterinarians marry people to their pet).

If homosexuality is inherited, what about Jason Collin's twin brother Jerron (I ask as an identical twin)?

If choice regarding same sex, what about bisexuals (would they want marriage between, say, one or more men to one or more women, plus one or more men - or any combination thereof?)

Why the reference to Mormons? The Mormon church is on the front lines protecting marriage between a woman and a man.

YOU DO GET IT!!! And you SAID it. Same-sex marriage is wrong. I am so glad to know that you are actively helping your child understand that it is wrong.
God bless you.

Would a parade honouring heterosexuality or those men and women who have been married to each other for 50 plus years even be allowed? It might be denied on the basis that such a parade is not 'inclusive' or that it fosters hate against another group. A Christian based group attempting such an event would have one more strike against it.

Praise God for those who are open to truth. The natural law will always bring blessings. Not so with man-made, false laws. We must fast and pray for this nation!

Wow!! Do we need more young adults and people in general to stand up like this young man. It looks like we can all learn from this young mans actions. It's time or rather past time we stand up up for our Faith. If we don't, who will? And yes if our young don't see people standing up for Truth, God only knows where and whats in store for them.

God Bless this guy. He gets it, common sense liberals don't have a grain of common sense. The whole world is messes up. Anything that God sends us as punishment or to wake us up, this country deserves a double portion. God have mercy on America.

Of course, I completely agree, but while this man's words may resonate with wayward Christians who have signed onto the believe that homosexual relations are legitimate, his arguments, unfortunately, won't hold much water with those who don't put any credence in Divine Revelation. While I'm definitely not saying he shouldn't share these truths, I sadly feel his words will largely fall on deaf ears. Praying for hearts to change!

It was encouraging to hear this young man speak so plainly and clearly on this issue. I've heard so many pundits say young people approve of same sex "marriage" I had begun to believe them - Thank the Lord for courageous young men such as the one on the video. I only wish our Bishops and priests were as courageous as he is....

At least there are many like this gentleman who have the real guts to speak the truth, and not fall into the easy trap of getting carried away with the 'modern (?)' ideas. May God bless this young man for his courage to speak out, in spite of the hate those who disagree might dish out at him. May many more get this spirit, and get the courage to proclaim the truth.

Heck, most "gays" don't want to believe in God so they won't listen. It's all about what makes them feel good, not about the afterlife and sin.

I love this guy! He is so refreshing!! As he says: 'it is simple, "God's 'foolishness' is wiser than man's wisdom"(sripture). It is simple, it does not not need a lot of so-called learnedness to understand; it is simple. Thank you, sir. A country to so blatantly encourages gross ugliness will in time implode on itself. It is simple.

The world is in a state of moral decay & will end up as Rome did for it's debauchery & sins. Let us pray for the conversion of people to see the truth & the light. The Lord said: "I am the resurrection & the light, whosoever believes in me will never die but will have everlasting life." God bless this man.
