TFP Student Action members were assaulted while peacefully demonstrating for traditional marriage in Fairport, New York, on June 2.
As young TFP volunteers stood at the corner of Main Street and Church Street with signs, a pro-homosexualist hurled himself against the group’s thirteen foot long banner inscribed with “God’s Marriage = 1 Man & 1 Woman.” The banner, held by three volunteers, was knocked down and violently torn to pieces.

Assault with glass bottle
In a separate incident at the same demonstration, another supporter of "gay marriage" threw a beer bottle at TFP volunteer Michael Shibler from a moving vehicle. The glass bottle hit him on the forehead, causing it to swell and bleed. Local police are investigating both incidents.
“These bully tactics do not even slightly dampen my resolve to continue promoting the truth about marriage in charity. Our cause is noble and we will win,” said Shibler.
“Some say that same-sex ‘marriage’ doesn’t harm or affect anybody. Well, I think my throbbing forehead is a good example of how it does harm people. Anti-family proponents would like to completely silence my first amendment right to free speech,” he said. “While demanding tolerance for what they call 'diversity,' they are utterly intolerant of opposing viewpoints.”

Yes, indeed. God will win.
@ MaryRose, I assume the nose bleeding would be the result of physical violence suffered. Would such physical violence constitute a "hate crime" in your book?
Why don't you go and tear up muslim banner?
in Iran, they burn guys like that.
Did you report any of this to the police?
No, what he did was not right. It was wrong and evil. And your intolerance too is evil. That's o.k. though because we all make mistakes. Thank God for those of us who have the tools to not make mistakes again. Unfortunately, too many people have been blinded by the homosexual agenda, the media, and others that do not care for their well-being. Again, their is hope for all in another place.

Further, why do so called Christians focus specifically on homosexuality? Why don't you focus on divorce? Infidelity? Working on the Sabbath? Oh how I miss "traditional" biblical beliefs such as stoning, mass murder, subjugation, torture, raping and censure.
Rate down if you will, however any research, or reading of the Bible will validate each and all of these statements.

"Take advantage of your sufferings and more so of the small ones than of the great. God considers not so much what we suffer as how we suffer. To choose small, unnoticeable crosses and to carry them cheerfully requires the power of a special grace and unshakable fidelity to God." - St. Louis De Montfort
Keep up the amazing work.
God Bless TFP

You are heros and I thank you for your perseverance in facing such nasty, evil behavior.
At least you know where your going and we all know where these people are going.
Thankyou for spreading the message and staying strong, mandy
What a feeble argument to make them appear like the poor persecuted people. Rather, it is the TFP, who are the persecuted, and the homosexuals and the like, the persecutors.
Don't stop! let see that we are just as good on our word for traditional marriage as they are on their immoral issue.
Good Bless!
My prayers are with you all!!!!
sure whatever makes you happy...point is not everyone in this country believes in god and they shouldnt have to abide by your religious laws and beliefs because you dont like it...if you think gays are gonna go to hell...then let them...its none of your business...if jesus or god had such a problem with it then they would stop it..after all they have the power to do so...right
I like this information. Can you please tell me where you got it from? I am for traditional marriage 100%
