Gustavo Solimeo was born in São Paulo, Brazil and joined the Brazilian TFP in 1959. He is a well-known researcher, writer, and speaker on many topics including liberation theology in Latin America, socialism, and communism. He has lived at the TFP headquarters in Spring Grove, Penn since 1999, where he is the director of the Sedes Sapientiae Institute, a college-level course of study for Catholic men.
