STOP Flag Desecration "Art" at Broward College

Broward College (BC) in Florida is displaying the American flag as a door mat for students to step on. The desecrated flag -- considered a piece of "art" -- was created by assistant professor Lisa Rockford and will be on display at the 2018 Full-time Faculty Exhibition until February 21, 2018.

But students are outraged. According to Campus Reform, BC student and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Jess Karcher wrote a letter to the college president, stating:

“I find this extremely disrespectful and kick in the gut as a veteran. I have lost many friends whose caskets were draped with that same flag.”

Please join this peaceful protest by urging the college to respect the highest symbol of our beloved nation. Everyone is invited to contact Broward College with a simple message: "Stop desecrating the American flag!"
